There is another credit card scam circulating via email. If you reserve an email from your internet access provider asking you to update your billing information...DO NOT DO IT! Only update your credit card information through your members page of your provider. This is a way to access your personal information, emails, and your credit card numbers!!! Please pass this information on to all you know! - Jill St. Claire

Yes, I've been getting these scam emails for a year or more now. Banks, paypal, ebay, you name it.

The first time or 2, I contacted ebay about the ones purportedly from them, and they got right back to me on it.

There are links on legitimate sites that you can forward these scam emails to; say you get one that's supposedly from ebay -- forward the fake one to them, they say they will investigate.

A lot of people must fall for it though.
