Now those links got my attention. I don't think that I have ever had a reason to use the nitrous gas, never.

But I sure as thunder have some of the symptoms.

I no longer drive, as I pass out. I ever so often wake up and am too dizzy to walk, for a matter of hours.

Doc says age and blood pressure.

If they disbursed nitrous over you multiple times in copious quantities, hard to tell what effect it might have on those affected by the release. Those MSDS reports tell a lot about the chemicals we use everyday. They're out there for all of us to read and sometimes offer contradictory information to everything we've ever known. Take hydrogen peroxide for instance:

Hydrogen peroxide: 1 ppm TWA; 1.4 mg/m3 TWA

Personal Protective Equipment

Eyes:

Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles as described by OSHA's eye and face protection regulations in 29 CFR 1910.133 or European Standard EN166.

Skin:

Wear appropriate protective gloves to prevent skin exposure.

Clothing:

Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin exposure.

Now Granny I'm certain this pertains to large quantities, but the caution of preventing skin exposure indicates it is not harmless in quantity. Too bad we can't have MSDS forms for the unpronounceable ingredients in our food.
