Isnt it obvious? If the interests of the whole FR community arent considered, the website would suffer. The point I am making is that even if Jim Rob is running this website, this is bigger than one person.
I think it has been made clear that, for example, banning trolls that disrupt rather than inform is one way to make this a better experience for the whole community.
A Private enterprise should be run by those who own the private enterprise. In this case it is Jim Robinson.
The so-called "FR community" is free to shop around on the internet and find a different website if they don't like the policies of this website and its ownership.
The interests of the "FR community" are best served in the free market place of competing websites -- each webiste no bigger than the people who own it.
Anything else is simply communalism.
