First of all, I won't put the left on par with either the south or the north in the war between the states. The only high-minded ideals for which they would fight are rendered hollow and meaningless by anything but non-violence.
Second, I dare not speak my mind for fear of giving them any ideas. But they rattle the saber when they talk of banning our military grade weapons and ammunition. They draw a bead when they misreport and betray the movement of our troops. And they set the fuse when they talk about overthrowing our government because the Electoral College ruled against them.
It is they who will fire the first shot. They've already said they would. If there's anything we have learned from 9/11 and from the Holocaust, it's that one should believe it when someone says he aims to do you and your country harm.
Depends on who shoots first. If it's "them," my guess is Vandenberg AFB, or the Bremerton SSBN base. Lefty blackshirts on the West coast have spoken openly of direct attacks on these facilities. In terms of the overall conflict, these people are the elite strike force of the dominant media culture.
