America is strong enough to take on the Islamic extremists. But, more and more, I fear that we won't be strong enough to withstand the Left.

There are so many to choose from but would love to know "who" the writer for the magazine is.
This is what the left fears most, yet it is something about which they dare not speak. With 50% of the country firmly on the side of its president, and the military presumably 99% in favor of prosecuting the war on terror to the maximal extent, they know that in terms of sheer force, they are outflanked even with the media on their side.
I believe this is the primary reason for the "torture scandal" being blown out of proportion in the media. They desperately need a vehicle for asserting civilian control. I thought of this while watching senator Carl Levin, with his foppish manner, asserting his authority over secretary Rumsfeld. Hillary Clinton also seemed to demonstrate a will to assert civilian control. And Rumsfeld clearly knew it.
Is Sheehy in Iraq? I guess Robin Wright or Judith Miller. We should look into what infobabes are over there and then it will be easy to figure out.

You're right. I don't think Sheehy would dare go to Iraq. Sheehy is a plagarizing diva. she isn't a serious reporter at all.

Nope. But you should be wary of ALL media and their reporting...and all descriptions of reality - including your own.
I am that..but most of all I know the bias of both sides and which party most reporters vote for, 80% dem.
I cannot imagine wanting my nation to do poorly in a war or people in Iraq to die in order to beat a candidate. That is anti American and inhumane.

Hmm. You should read up on the Spanish Civil War. The radicalism of its left, the manner in which they expressed themselves and their manipulation of the military during that period reads awfully familiar to your post.

Yep, I saw this. Some of these people are up to their eyeballs in sedition. My hatred for Clinton can match anyone's, but I never wanted America to fail so that it would hurt him. We are different than the true believer RAT B*ST*RDS!
