there is a big difference between the Oregon Lawyer and Berg. First of all there is physical evidence pointing to the Lawyer, his fingerprint on the bomb. You can't get better than that. Next you have unquestionable ties inasmuch as that lawyer defended terrorists and was a convert to Islam (converts are always more fundamentalist than people who are born into a religion) and he was married to a Muslim.

Plus, he was a criminal defense lawyer, which is only one step below Terrorist on the sub-human evolutionary scale.

You got nothing on Berg. Call me when you have evidence that his fingerprints were on the knife that cut off his head. Call me when you have evidence that he was a Muslim Convert. Call me when you find out he wasn't a tower guy, but a criminal defense lawyer with ties to terrorists.

The fact that his father is a certifiable whack job is irrelevant. If we are going to be judged by the relatives we keep, I dare say we are all in trouble.

The State Dept. refused to divulge information regarding Nick's travels citing the Privacy Act. The privacy act as it pertains to the government only includes employee and and official government files on an individual. Nick's travel itinerary and subsequent detentions should not have been subject to the Privacy Act unless he was acting on behalf of the government.

From May 7, 2004

Now, his parents -- who haven't heard from him in a month -- are worried, and aren't getting a lot of help in their quest to track him down.
26-year-old Nick Berg didn't sign a privacy waiver when he went over there.
And even though the State Department is using its one person in Iraq to help track him down, they can't tell anyone -- including Berg's parents -- what's going on.

Short Summary of Privacy Act
