Sorry for the humor. I made up the restaurant part because I was mocking Kerry over supposedly meeting with world leaders at restaurants.

So much of what Kerry does and has done gets ignored or smoothed over, it's making him careless. He may very well self destruct on live television despite the leftist media's best efforts. As an extreme anti-American lefty from Massachusetts, Kerry has never had to develop any political instincts. He is an amateur on the campaign trail, as has been exposed over and over in the past months, but alas, a large portion of the electorate is simply too stupid or simply fellow extreme anti-American lefties, and the same goes for the media. A live debate with President Bush could be very interesting; the huffing-and-puffing and stalking by Gore may be tame compared to what we could witness.

The news was out that Berg's father was lib Demonrat, which was all too obvious by his "blame America first" attitude (with all due respect for the great pain of his loss). Reportedly the younger Berg was Bush a supporter but that didn't stop Kerry from ambulance chasing.

I have been feeling exactly like you. I'm more disgusted by my own countrymen than the terrorists. Never thought that would happen..but there ya go.
For my own mental health I have turned off the TV the last few days. I always keep it on and tuned to FOX. I have just had enough and need some time to catch my breath and "smell the roses".

I am convinced that there is a very huge and very dark piece of this story that has not been made public yet!

Definitely another crocodile-tear Wellstone funeral rally about to happen. "My son is dead...so vote for Kerry!"

If Kerry did speak privately to Mr. Berg to offer his condolences, that's alright with me. But, to publicize that condolence and try and politicize Nick Berg's beheading is sickening.

Anybody know what Nick's educational background is?
The story about building communications towers - could be partially true. He may have been putting bugs in it..
Undercover CIA is my guess. That would explain the 100 different directions and conflicting ones at that the story is going..
My entire house is covered in the tin foil insulation stuff. They cannot get me.. :)

But I think what his dad said today about Nick being Al-qaeda's best friend (it was a slip but he meant it) says the old man has not abandoned his illusions that the people who sawed off his son's head are simply misunderstood freedom fighters and America is the bad guy. I'm suspecting he was killed as an American agent, even if he wasn't.

Mercy! This story raises more questions than it answers.
I'm beginning to wonder, as it it OKC & Zacharias Moussai, was the FBI interested in this young man for other reasons? Is the family story that he was pro-Bush, pro-war when his family is so antiwar and tied to ANSWER a cover story?

"It's not the same America I grew up in."
I grew up in a country where we respected one another, the flag, God & country and dug the shit out of baseball. Where the hell did you grow up Mr. Berg?
Why not try mourning for a moment or two before you speak.

When you have something to hide, sending the story a hundred different directions is effective. You know good and well we have spooks disguised in everything from Camel jockeys to telephone repair men. I am guessing they simply found one of them.
