Thomas Oliphaunt writes for the Globe - the pics are just more pornography, and their readers are used to it.

Don't bother putting THIS in "Breaking News."

Well, since the Boston Post is playing it so fast and loose, it would seem to be a wonderful opportunity for other extremist groups to get their weird theories published.

I wonder if they'd be willing to do a piece about black men raping white women if they got some pics from the Ku Klux Klan, or Jews making matzoh out of the bones of Christian babies based on reports from the White Aryan Resistance?

Well, maybe the one slandering the Jews would get past them...

"The president of the Globe's parent New York Times reportedly is ``furious.''

LOL! This, after the guy at the LATimes claims Fox is perpetrates propaganda! The mainstream media - see how far she's fallen. She is a whore.

The president of the Globe's parent New York Times reportedly is ``furious.''

Because they got caught.

I'd like to know which editor had to sheepishly admit he'd seen those photos before.

The New York Times was only furious because they thought it would be their scoop.

"Her story did note the pictures ``bear no characteristics that would prove the men are US soldiers or that the women are Iraqis.'' "

. . .but nonetheless, they chose to run them anyway.

Just too irresistable to miss an opportunity to slime our Military even further. . .and besides, they can always make a retraction; post damage. . .

Totally disgusting.

But yesterday, WorldNetDaily.com reported the pictures - which show hard-core sex acts and genitalia - came from a porngraphic site.

Hm. I wish the site would come forward. Seems to me they have a lucrative case of copyright infringement against somebody here.

In so much of a hurry to slam a republican administration, they got caught with their pants down. If the pics had been rated G, what they did would still be pornographic. But they don't see it that way I'm sure.

anti-Bush bias--Hate America first attitude affects
the nations press corps as much as a lazy mans refusal
to check and verify their sources before they publish
something as factual. Like bob seegar says in his song
"Against the wind" --"deadlines and committments--what
to take out-what to leave in. . . "

My email to the Globe:

The Globe recently called for the resignation of Sec Def Donald Rumsfeld.

Subsequently, the Globe ran fake porn pictures accusing the US Military of performing the acts depicted in the photographs.

The Globe has, in my opinion, a political bias against our President and does not agree with the war effort. Regardless, undermining our war effort amounts to sedition and, if it gives aid and comfort to our enemies, treason. To the extent that the media exploits negative stories related to the war and our military for political purposes, sedition and treason apply.

The failure of the Globe to carefully vet the authenticity and relevance of these pictures appears to demonstrate its bias and contempt for our military and the war effort.

What resignations can we expect from the editorial and management staff of the Globe in the wake of this incident?

Alternatively, perhaps you should just change the name to the Boston Rose - it does have a nice ring to it.
