But Anderson, a convert to Islam, said he would not fight overseas against "brother" Muslims.
Be careful how you condemn a man for his beliefs....
If the American military is ordered to combat American patriots and they refuse to shoot other Americans, would you condemn them? Or would you, even if you don't agree, see their point of view?
If all this person on trial (I could look up why, but it doesn't really matter for this letter) did is request C.O. status due to religious beliefs, then he should not be tried.
BUT ... if he's just now using this as an excuse, after the fact, for some treasonous behavior - then he deserves to die as a traitor.
If ordered to kill Christians (as clinton & clark did in Bosnia), I would have refused to fight myself. I may have even gone over there to fight clark myself, since most of my family is from the area where clark loved to bomb.
In the Marine Corps, GOD comes first. That is why the democrats hate the Marine Corps.

Let me clarify a point...
"If ordered to kill Christians... "
should be read as....
"If ordered to specifically kill Christians - especially to promote islam."
Going to war and the enemy just happens to be the same religion is a different matter.

He was telling how to kill Americans..He is an American in the military. We don't allow for a religion that tells Al Queda operatives how to defeat Americans on the battlefield! That is treason!

said he would not fight overseas against "brother" Muslims. IMO it's not that this guy didn't want to fight against his "brothers", he wanted to KILL American GI's.
In the undercover video, Anderson seemingly volunteers information freely, with little prompting, pulling his weapons card, military ID and others for Ramon to photograph. Talking in great detail, Anderson on the video produced literature about the M1A1 battle tank and how to defeat it and the kill the soldiers inside.

In the 58-minute recording made inside a vehicle, with about a minute censored for security reasons, Anderson, 26, of Lynnwood is shown volunteering ideas on how to defeat U.S. military vehicles and kill soldiers, sharing military documents, making plans to desert and join al-Qaida, and his reasons for it all.

You ever hear tell of the European theater in World War Two?
As I recall, the Germans were Christians. Does that mean it was bad ju-ju to kell them? I think there's a number of vets from the Big Two still around who would dispute that.

Be careful how you condemn a man for his beliefs.... But his high school friends say he was Christian so when did this new enlightenment to Muslim start? Something else, what's with all these video tapes? Once again I'm out of fashion not filming myself 24/7.
