He sounds like a whining coward to me.

"I love my country, but ..."

He doesn't love his country, he loves his comfortable home, his full belly, car, TV, sterio, vacations to Disney World, and all that..... but he apparently has no concept of the price Americans must pay to live in economic comfort and freedom, nor of the God we should be on our knees thanking everyday and asking for His continued blessings on our nation.

Rule number 1 in life... Any thing you say after the word "but" makes everything said before the word irrelevant.

Basically he is saying, "I don't love my country and here is why."
