It maybe worse - one analyst said the embargo/sanctions were not going to be strictly enforced, that several high-tech companies had lobbied the administration to relax any restrictions on telecommunications/electronics. Basically it becomes a "we are going to publicly denounce you, but business will carry on as usual".
It's the American Governments business M O!! Maybe for once we will have the balz to followup what we say and not for monetary gain to a few "well connected"
