I've noticed that whenever an Islamic expresses any reservations over the terrorist actions of a fellow Islamic brother, it is always because that action may bring reprisals on them. Can't they simply offer an unqualified condemnation? If and when that ever happens, wake me up..

Since every gas station in the NYC metro area seems to be owned/run by a Muslim, if gas prices keep going up, these folks are really gonna feel "displeasure.." Wait, isthat it..are rising gas prices an attempt to target Muslims?

I am so done with this foolishness. It is not the job of the American people or its policy makers to become bogged down in the Battle of the Expert Witnesses over the question of what is or is not "true Islam," and whether or not Muslim Terror is one of its core principles or merely an aberration.
We can study the Koran for 10,000 hours, and still not come away with a conclusion on either side of the question that would not be challenged by credentialed Imams and Muslim scholars.
All we really need to know is that with few, if any, exceptions, Muslim nations have failed in their moral responsibility to contain and control Muslim terror, both within their own geographical confines and abroad. This failure now threatens the lives and interests of Americans on our own soil and around the world.
Whether this failure is the result of deliberate support for terrorism, or the result of the inability to muster the ability to fight it is immaterial to me at this point.
Therefore, because we have the natural human right to defend our lives and our nations, we have the natural right to do the job of cleaning up Islam's mess in whatever manner will get the job done.
Whatever collateral damage results from our actions to defend our nation is the moral responsibility of the Muslim world for failing to do its humanitarian duty.
The only question we need to consider in making US policy is what will work on a practical level to protect our safety and security.
In my view, by exporting and failing to control Muslim terror, most Muslim nations have lost their right to national sovereignty in the same way that criminals in our own society lose their right to walk freely on our streets.
The Muslim world has had enough opportunity to clean up its own mess over the past 800 years. So now we will have to do it for them. It won't be pretty. But there is no question that we have to do it or die.
So I will not be listening to any more discussions of whether there are or aren't moderate Muslims at this point. If there are any, they certainly haven't proven themselves very useful in combatting the terror which will make the world lousy for the next 100 years.

Well stated, Ive noticed it too. How insincere.
"What happened with the beheading of this American is very unfortunate..."
UNFORTUNATE?!! No, its more like satanic, twisted, perverted, murderous depravity.

Yep. And I guess we've all noticed that they condemn it out of fear for THEMSELVES, not because it was wrong.

Muslims in America putting out press releases about their ungrounded fear of reprisals are doing their part to draw a moral equivalence between America and terrorists.
A truly moderate Muslim is one who would live in peace with other religions. They are so exceedingly rare that they could be called extinct. Those claiming the title are not moderate by that definition, they are simply Muslims who want to kill us later.

My thoughts precisely. "Unfortunate" is an understatement. Note to Muslims: Be afraid; be very afraid.

Anyone who comites violence against American Muslims because of Nick Berg's murder is a coward and a pro-terrorist stooge. If anyone is so angry about Nick Berg's murder they want to strike back there are a number of things they can do.
1. Enlist in the Military.
2. If too old or unable to Enlist, take a civilian job in Iraq or join a Military support group.
3. Go to
http://www.georgewbush.com/ and volunteer for the Bush campaign and work your butt off to reelect GW Bush so we keep killing off terrorists in mass quanities after Nov 2, 2004.

Their fellow Islamics behead an American citizen in Iraq, and all they can muster is a phony "condemnation" by a few, while at least as many are singing Allah's praises for this act.
Yet they're the victims.

"We do fear that someone out there, with radical thoughts, may retaliate thinking that this is the agenda of all Muslims, and it isn't."
The lack of "moderate" Muslims condemnation of the actions of Muslim terrorists causes more problems for "moderate" Muslims than the actions of Muslim terrorists.
