Clinton wants Taguba to reconcile his view of Karpinski's culpability and the comments she just read.
Taguba: Tension between Pappas and Karpinski. Pappas was clearly to be the forward operating officer. Taguba did not hold her exclusively culpable, but her leadership. Does not know whether Pappas reported directly to Miller.
Smith: Miller had no command relationship in this. Nobody reported to him.

She's confused ? Gee, she must be pretty dense. We have it figured out and we only learned of this matter about 10 days ago... She, OTOH, learned about it months ago from a Mr Lawson, uncle of one of the perpertrators.
