Its looking more and more like the Breck Girl is planning a Boston debut this summer.

Possibly, but he has liabilities.

1. As a fellow senator, we can compare their voting records, and thus make Kerry look even more liberal than his own running mate. Dangerous for Kerry to take any fellow senator on the ticket for this reason.

2. Sets up Breck Girl for 2008, something obviously untenable to BJ and PIAPS.

3. He can't carry water in his own backyard --- cannot flip any southern state, including NC.

Still believe it will be Gephardt.

Oh, I doubt they'll go with the Breck Girl.... I just think its funny after protesting that he wasn't interested in being #2, that he seems to be primping for the part.

Yesterday the word was the Kerry camp would prefer a governor as a running mate over another senator or a congressman. The governor of Iowa was mentioned as being vetted.
