It would not surprise me to learn of an attempt to discredit the military by deliberately engaging in bad behavior.

It's a set up! The simple explanation is that certain anti-war, anti-admin soldiers decided that the best way to end the war would be to embarrass our country. What would embarrass us more than exposing our role in the development of technology that puts pornography in every living room in the world?

Not that the same technology would have been invented and dispersed by any given culture, willingly or not, if it had been invented by them. Nonetheless, we are the leaders, so we get blamed for not doing it right the first time, time and again.

The United Nations is involved in sex scandals (rape, teen prostitution, sexual slavery, etc.) and there isn't a peep from the national/world media.
