This man was probably threatening the guard, or perhaps tried to escape. He could have been totally uncooperative with the guard.

It's interesting that you couldn't possibly know what really happened, and that you're jumping to conclusions regarding the picture. But others are able to ascertain the guilt and just desserts from said photograph.

How can you lie so blatantly when it is so simple a matter as to view the photo and see that the man isn't shackled?
Did you see the photo? Reply 59 has a link that goes to an undigitized photo. There are no shackles on that man. There are no restraints at all on him, neither at the ankles nor at the wrists!
I'll tell you what, I'm gonna chance getting in trouble just to show you how wrong you are by posting the picture. Nothing "indecent" shows as the man has his tail tucked between his legs.

Man, you opened yourself bigtime with this one, LOL but since I'm a gentleman I'm going to withold my thoughts.

For the record Sinkspur, suffice to say that we do not know what occurred shortly before these time frame snapshots were taken, but we DO know that these POWs are amongst the most violent, dangerous and deadly human being who walk this earth, and many of them are utterly neurotic. We also know that Saddam emptied out ALL of his prisons and unleashed these madmen, criminals, thugs, killers and assassins just before the Coalition invasion. Hence, it is very easy to imagine what might have occurred just before the photo of the naked, shakled man was taken. Why not give the benefit of the doubt to OUR GUYS until all the facts are out?
