...bring in my sheets for the meeting this Saturday. Dayum - what is I gonna do now?

Wa now, shouldn't thaat reaad 'from my meetin' dis Satuhday'? Come on now, can't I git a 'jimmy earl', I'm callin' fo 'jimmy-earl'.

P.S. Just an American South lovin' yankee, I(long i)talian girl tryin' to keep up.

On a more serious note though, many, and I mean many Blacks that I know here in Upstate NY are planning to retire in the South. There are many of us Yanks that love you guys and wish some of your mannerly ways would migrate North. Take care.

Jimmy Earl ain't here - he's done gone out to the truck to go down to piggly wiggly to get some frozen dinners. He shore does like them frozen dinners - I keep trying to tell him that they're better when you heat 'em up, but you can't tell Jimmy Earl nothing. It's like the time I brought the yard tractor up for him to use - he called me back after three days and said that it weren't doing him no good no how to use it - didn't go worth squat. So I went up to the place and had him start it up - was running just fine you know (nothing runs like a Deere, dear) and I said it sounds fine to me - and Jimmy said yeah, runs just fine but it don't cut worth sh!t (pardon my language, but that's how Jimmy Earl talks, you know). So I got on, and cut on the blades and then put it in gear and it takes off just fine - and Jimmy Earl jumps up and hollers "Sumbitch! You mean you can ride the damn thing?"

I'll have to tell you about his job painting lines on the highway for the county sometime - or about his problems with the chainsaw. Y'all come up on the porch, I'll get some iced tea and we can sit and talk a spell.
