Arabs and Jews are both from the same racial stock. Perhaps it would be more helpful to know their religion.
But I've never heard of any Arabs named "Shmuel", so you have to wonder.

what is their race? Since Israeli Jews, Arabs and Israeli Palestinians are all of the same race, European Caucasoid, what good would that knowledge do?
I think you meant to say "What is their religious heritage?".
