You and the rest demeaning Hack's accomplishments should read his biography. He's not some armchair warrior; he's walked the walk. I agree that doesn't make him right, but I would think you wouldn't go demeaning his service.

Is everyone who doesn't march in lockstep with the current administration a traitor or some other form of scumbag?

One is known by the company they keep. If Hack is on the same side as Clark (and Clarke), and Soros, and Barbra, and Chirac, and jimmuh, and they are all scumbag in my opinion, then Hack is a scumbag as well. Hack no longer "walks the walk" and has gone over to the dark side, seduced by fame, which is a bad bargain if you sell your integrity in the process, a mistake I for one consider Hack to have succumbed to.

He may have been worthy of great respect before, but now is now, and the past is just a memory. Memories are of only passing value when you are in a fight as important as the one we are presently engaged in.
