I hate and despise the pictures, the people who created the pictures, the people who enabled the behavior, the poor command oversight and the lack of discipline but the pictures should not have been posted during the worst month of fighting, endangering the honorable troops.

Well I agree but I have a question. The pictures were obtained by the investigators in January when Taguma was investigating the Army Reserve 800th MP Btl (2nd investigation as the first was apparently poorly done according to Taguma (whitewash?)). The investigation into Military Intelligence was not begun until April 23rd (from Rummy's testimony). That was after the time they knew the press had the pictures from the Taguma investigation. It leads one to wonder whether MI (and more importantly CIA) would ever have been investigated had the pictures not come out.

I am not aware that MI was not included in an investigation until April. We should not hear about it until they get their ducks in a row.

I do know the innocent get dragged into investigations and I don't want a fiasco over ruining people for life or letting the guilty upper level off, either. Some stuff in an investigation report needs to be kept secret in order to give a fair trial.

Some of those who need questioned were transferred out and some are in Germany.I say let the chips fall where they may..no excuse for this...
