My opinion of the military reserve system is just that. I didn't ask you to give a oath of allegence to it. Nor do I expect you to ask the same of me for your opinion.

Hack is jealous it wasn't him rolling naked on the floor with other Iraqi men. Poor baby!
To: Robert Drobot
If you refuse to apologize for your uncalled for condemnation of the reservists who are fighting and risking their lives for you, then you are an ungrateful fool.

(Just because you did not see it or read it, that does not mean it did or did not happen.)

I'm attached, yes. Good discussion going on.

You should read the report. Some of the inmates were sodomized with chemical light-sticks, and maybe a broomstick.

That's fine..you are entitled to your opinion...I'll pass along your sentiments to my hubby, who is a 1sgt of a Chinook NG unit that has just returned from 15 mos in Iraq...his unit out-performed the *regular* AVN units and was so honored by the DOD.

What lesson do you draw from that excerpt?
To: saquin
Many of the incriminating photographs appear to have been taken on a digital camera by a soldier in the 372nd Military Police Company who is now facing a court-martial. From there, they appear to have circulated among military personnel in Iraq via e-mail and computer disks, and some may have found their way to family members in the United States. I don't buy this for a minute. All correspondence is checked, is it not?

Welcome Home, Top!

I just watched Ellen Ratner on FNC and she articulated (without knowing it) the DNC's agenda with regard to the abuse photos.
Asked whether Rumsfeld should resign, Ellen said no because he would just take the fall for the president and then it would be over.
The Democrats have been looking for something and this may well be it. They have their Kerry moment and they want to: 1) take down the president; and 2) get us out of Iraq permanently.

The jerk that just called in says it's a Jewish plot and we sent those troops over there knowing they'd be anti muslim. He had a soft southern accent, not Middle Eastern.THAT's why I don't listen ...it's like listening to trolls!

The Democrats have been looking for something and this may well be it. They have their Kerry moment and they want to: 1) take down the president; and 2) get us out of Iraq permanently. It's not going to work Peach. Rummy has nearly 70% support (i.e. should not resign) in Thursday's ABC Poll. The more the media and Democrats exploit this, the more these images are shown, the more Americans will turn against the media and the Democrats.
Americans outside the beltway, who don't descend into sewers like DU, remember 9/11.

"Unlike Bush, when I become President I won't be the last to know"....Kerry speech I heard.
The poll shows 69% of Americans want to keep Rumsfield.Ratner is uberliberal. She may write the talking points for the dems!

9/11 did indeed change things and hopefully Republicans won't join the "cut and run" crowd.
Does anyone have any idea how many soldiers are involved in this abuse mess? It's criminal that a small number have so affected our worthy goal in Iraq and the M E.
