I'm sure this has been covered here previously,but,what is this p.o.s. of a freshman senator doing on this,of all,committees?

The story I heard was that Mary Landrieu gave up her seat to Hillary, in return for the Clinton's help in her last re-election.

In other words, Hillary intimidated and threatened another Senator to get that seat.

And did it, no doubt, to beef up her resume in her run for the Presidency.
