I still think the Bush team has the RATS where they want them. Rumsfeld was brilliant today, the off hand comment, 'yeah, sure' is a crack in the mask. With criminals like the Clintons sometimes the truth is the opposite of what it appears.

I sure hope so.

Keeping my fingers crossed about this day. It's been a tough one.

I agree, The fact of the matter is... The DoD was on top of this issue and had launched several investigations immediately after the whistle blower went to his superiors and exposed the violations he witnessed. George W. Bush was not briefed on the seriousness of the matter because only the investigators and their staff had the pictures and sworn affidavits. President Bush immediately responded by leaking to the Press of his disatisfaction in Rummy not briefing him of the seriousness of the matter.

Notice that in today's testimony by Rumsfeld, he said he never saw the pics before they were aired, so Rummy's response to GWB about the Pics had to be.. "Mr. President, I had no prior knowledge of the content of these pics until they were aired on 60 Minutes II"

Something tells me that when Rummy made it clear that someone leaked this report and pics to the Press illegally as he responded to Hillary's question, he was laying down a marker for the future prosecution of the leaker. My guess is that a Clinton appointee's staffer in the DoD leaked the documents and the pics, to either Hillary or one of Kerry's DNC hacks, IMHO there is no other way for these pics and documents to end up in the Press before Rummy had the chance to see them

No matter what happens, the Bush Administration has taken the high road and the RATS have taken their usual low road, in any case it's a win win for Dubya in the end
