Peach, thanks for the link. Just sent a short, warm note to President Bush about Secretary Rumsfeld, how proud we are of them today, and that we pray for them.

They bear our burdens.

McCain: Who was in charge of the guards and gave instructions. What agencies or private contractors.

Myers says they did not bring the report on that and they meant to! Goodness.

He does not want Myers to answer, he wants Rumsfeld.

Who was in charge McCain repeatedly asks: The Brigade Commander.

Rumsfeld says he can answer but wants to make sure they give absolutely accurate information.

Military intelligence in charge of the interrogation part of the process. The responsibility over the matter over the period of time.

McCain wants to know what the instructions were to the guards. Rumsfeld says that's an aspect of the ongoing investigation.

Guards are to guard, not interrogate. Geneva Convention DOES apply to all involved here.
