"The idea that the Islamic view of the US for the next 50 years will be the image of an American soldier with an Iraqi on a leash is pure nonsense."

If it turns out not to be nonsense, I hope they each and every one remember that the soldier was a woman.

At least they'll have some small justification for their hatred of American women.

But, perhaps Iraqi an other Muslim men and women are like American men and women, who are able to understand that there are bad people in the world, but that doesn't mean that all people are bad, that this truism can be extrapolated to countries and to genders and most other groups. I hope and pray that it's so.

I guess I have a slightly different take than most folks...

I see all this a good thing. We are at war, and that includes a psychological component as well. I want all those Islamofacist Wanks to know that this is how we treat our enemy. Think your tough 'cause your jumping around in the back of a Toyota pick-up with an AK-47 and towel on your head? Well, know this. If we don't kill your ass, you just might find yourself naked, shivering and on the end of a leash being held by a five-foot tall woman who's so busy laughing she barely has time to finish her cigarette.

The vast majority of these guys are cowards. Full of bluster until the shooting starts, then running into Mosques, or hiding behind women and children. Everyone asumes this imagery is filling them with anger. I think it is filling them with fear.
