I wonder if a little bit of brutality and humiliation in the interrogation of the Oregon Al Quaeda cell in custody could have led to information that would have saved 200 lives in Madrid.... ah, but their lawyers would have protested that. Brandon would have screamed for his clients' civil rights on all the TV talking head shows that preach tolerance of Muslims to the ignorant American masses.

To be honest, I doubt it. If you've read any of the reports about these guys, they were idiots, for the most part. I doubt they would have had any advance information--keep in mind that they've been in custody for some time. Also, keep in mind that while this guy was a lawyer for one of them, it was for a child-custody matter--totally unrelated to the terror charges.
