Excellent piece, Cinnamon Girl!

...but our president shouldn't be getting busy apologizing and buying into yet another attempt to sell our military down the river.

But President Bush is darned if he does and darned if he doesn't. I don't mind him "apologizing" for the methods of interrogation used on Iraqi prisoners if it helps in any way win the war against militant Islamic terrorists.

Trouble is, President Bush has to fight two wars: one against terrorism and the other against the leftists who reside in and enjoy the comforts of America but hate it with a passion. (They're just so upset that 9/11 spoiled their days of decadent Clinton-style partying that they're willing to deny it even happened.)

Yeah, but what is the point of apologizing to King Abdullah of Jordan? This kind of cements the idea that somehow, all the Muslims are a united force, no matter what country they are from, no matter which terrorist organization or group of vermin is at issue. This sickening incident needs to be handled by the military, and if there's going to any apologies, shouldn't it be between the people involved? These perverted acts didn't involve, and don't represent the U.S. military, and therefore, I don't get why the Commander in Chief needs to apologize, to Muslims in general.
