I asked why Bush was apologizing to King Abdullah, way back near the beginning of this thread. It was the first question that popped into my head when I heard about the apology, so I posted it. I don't know what it is about that question that so offended people, but now yours is the third jackass, rude response that's been thrown my way. Something is seriously wrong with some of the posters on this thread.

What on earth are you talking about? Who else was he talking to? Obviously he wasn't apologizing to King Abdullah for any humiliation that US troops inflicted on King Abdullah-----he was apologizing for what was done to Iraqi prisoners. But how you can indignantly accuse me of mischaracterizing anything is just bizarre.
