Been looking for a place to jump into the conversation that wouldn't include getting flamed...

Honestly, I don't think Rumsfeld is going to lose his job. It would be hard to find someone to fill the post as resolutely as he has, and I think the President knows this.

Calls for his resignation will build for a while, yes. But they'll stop as soon as the liberals find another issue to cling to. After awhile, they're not going to be able to make the same political hay.

It's just the liberal (politicians/media) way of keeping the heat on Bush and away from critter Kerry. They don't seem to realize that all this chest pounding just makes them look as pitiful as they truly are.
