Confusion results when people substitute religious euphoria, mass hypnosis, and sheer addleheadedness for analysis.

'Hear me, people of America, God's laws live today. Keep them and none suffer, disregard them and we go the way of the missing. His word said that. Here is what He said:

"The profit of the earth is for all." Ecclesiastes: chapter 5, verse 9.

"And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family." Leviticus: chapter 25. verse 10.

"At the end of every 7 years thou shalt make a release. . . Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbor shall release it; he shall not exact it of his. . . brother; because it is called the Lord's release." Deuteronomy: Chapter 15, verses 1 and 2.

Maybe you do not believe the Bible; maybe you do not accept God as your Supreme Lawgiver. God help you if you do not; but if you do not, then all I ask of you is to believe the simple problems of arithmetic, the tables of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. If you believe them, you will know that we cannot tolerate this condition of a handful of people owning nearly all and all owning nearly nothing. In a land of plenty there is no need to starve unless we allow greed to starve us to please the vanity of someone else.'

Huey Long -- January 23, 1935

Here's a brief fill in the blank multiple choice test.

The following are excerpts from a March 23, 2002 Washington Times piece by Bill Sammon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------- Urges More Foreign Aid

"MONTERREY, Mexico: --------- yesterday said Americans are duty-bound to 'share our wealth' with poor nations and promised a 50 percent increase in foreign aid, but 'We should give more of our aid in the form of grants, rather than loans that can never be repaid,' he said. 'We should invest in better health and build on our efforts to fight AIDS, which threatens to undermine whole societies.'

"In addition to the moral, economic and strategic imperatives of increasing foreign aid, ------- said, it could also help in the war against terrorism.

"'We will challenge the poverty and hopelessness and lack of education and failed governments that too often allow conditions that terrorists can seize and try to turn to their advantage"

Who is quoted above?

a) Al Gore
b) John "Lurch" Kerry
c) Hillary Clinton
d) Jesse "Babbling" Jackson
e) Reverend Al What's-His-Name
f) Whoopie Goldberg
g) Bill Clinton
h) Bono and the pop band U2
i) Huey "Share the Wealth" Long
j) President of the USA, George W. Bush

Hint: He's very popular here at Free Republic.

If you think that Bush is a conservative and the Almighty's Chosen Man, then you are the one suffering from strong delusions, not me. Save it for the glassy-eyed fanatics.
