Wow, a reply that wasn't so insulting.
I hope you're right about this. However, this is unfolding so fast and badly that it's possible what he says this hour will not apply the next.

You fools do not understand what is happening here.
So let me explain. Bush apologized. Logically what is the next question?
SENATOR KERRY. NOW THAT BUSH HAS APOLOGIZED FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO SOME IRAQI PRISONERS, WILL YOU APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR ACTIONS IN VIETNAM?
Game, set, match.

I asked why Bush was apologizing to King Abdullah, way back near the beginning of this thread. It was the first question that popped into my head when I heard about the apology, so I posted it. I don't know what it is about that question that so offended people, but now yours is the third jackass, rude response that's been thrown my way. Something is seriously wrong with some of the posters on this thread. The only thing wrong with some of the posters on this thread is that they are sick and tired of seeing you MISCHARACTERIZE what Bush said and did.
You have been corrected and still keep saying he apologozied TO the king.

I'm not going to jump through hoops to appease my detractors, that's where the President and I differ.
I will just say this-- I take a backseat to no one on this forum in my desire to see the President re-elected. You can't imagine how utterly horrendous I find John Kerry.
Not only that, I like the Bushes quite a lot. I like what they represent-- decency, Americana, values, patriotism and unpretentiousness. I want that to win the day over the unpatriotic, Eurocentric, nihilistic, disingenuous face of modern day Liberalism embodied by Kerry and the Clintons.
That is who I am and if I kevetch about what I perceive are mistakes by this White House, I do that out of profound love. I don't want him to get beat my the staggeringly distasteful, subversive media and Rats in Congress. Sometimes I get a little emotional about the day to day ups and downs.
Does that mean that I want Bush to lose? No
Does that mean that I want to rile up the usual suspects?
No
I simply am telling it like it is from my perspective (period).

has CNN said they were sorry for their involvement in thetorture and murder of Iraqis under Saddam??? You mean their cover up that they wrote about in the New York Times???

Thanks again.
I almost feel like I need a FReeper glossary to catch up for lost time. Does someone know of a link to the lingo?
Jonathan is still ranting and raving on Hannity. Now he says that he doesn't like Kerry (yarite) but he hates President Bush more. (reallllllllllly?????)
Ted Rall is coming up soon. (Oy...) The irony of being in wartime is that our brave men and women in the services (take that, Ted) are fighting to protect the rights of organisms like Mr. Rall to say some of the stupid things he does. Perhaps he will now realize (though I don't approve of death threats) that while we are free to say what we will, that our words and actions have consequences, intended or no.
I apologize for rambling. And I for darn sure will NOT resign!

Well, some FReepers just can't handle any kind of criticism of President Bush, even if it's constructive criticism.

I'm pretty convinced that bringing up Nam is precisely what Kerry wants to discuss! So I hope that isn't where the GOP goes next.

I suspect next that Rush and/or Savage will be called a DNC operative for being critical of this mess.

Thank you for your welcome.
No apologies needed. I didn't join FR just to watch. I have a voice, and I would like to express it. I understand what you mean, though. Thanks for "looking out".

I don't know if you could tell by my post, but I agree with you 100%. Meantime, while this minor bonfire of the vanities flares out, I hope those wussies among us who are predicting doom can keep away from the knife drawer.

"Bush says he is sorry."
I agree. He is sorry.
Actually, he is a great Commander in Chief. But, he is a sorry President. His actions over the last two days makes it really look like he is switching into klinton's infamous "legacy building mode". Now THAT'S sorry.

All I see there is Howlin taking issue with your opinions. I'm not sure I see a personal attack worthy of a ban or suspension, other than calling you a troll once. You don't see any personal attacks? How about this Sandy?
To: Joe Hadenuf
The only thing I said about you yesterday is that you don't like anybody except white people.
What are YOU talking about?
