Am I the only Freeper that enjoys Savage the most? Sure, he probably provides less facts and has the worst interpersonal skills of anyone. But you can't deny he's entertaining.

No, you're not. Oh, there are times when Savage gets to be a bit much, but overall I enjoy listening to his rants. And, some of his personal stories - or the way he describes liberal politicians (present and former) - can be hysterical. In my opinion.

Out of the ones listed, I too enjoy Savage the most, purely based on entertainment value.
Thanks to FR, I don't hear very much 'new' on talk radio and only Savage has ever made me laugh as hard as he did when he said that the Russell Crowe movie "Master and Commander" should actually be called "NAMBLA Goes to Sea".
Boortz is a phony liberdopian who's actually a (R), but masquerades it so he can straddle the fence on issues like abortion and homosexual marriage. Hannity is a Bushbot blowhard and I don't even try to listen to Rush, mostly because his hours conflict with when I'm able to listen to the radio.

Sure, he probably provides less facts and has the worst interpersonal skills of anyone. But you can't deny he's entertaining. Well yeah, so's a train wreck, but I can't do either voluntarily. He was OK when he was local in SF, but once he went national (a few years after I joined FR), I found that a lot of his facts were either wrong, misstated, or late. We read - and write - news and comments here on Monday, and it shows up on his show on Wednesday, with the tag line: "I'll bet you people don't know this. I'm the only person who will tell you this." But it's old news to most of us. When he does present a nuanced point, it's so often drowned out by the vitriol. Sure, he has his fans, and there had been daily threads here on his shows. I just don't see much new or fresh on his show, and have too much agita during the day to listen to him yell at callers. Just not my cup of tea.

He's anything but entertaining. The guy has a serious problem with his mental health. Call a shrink!

I love listening to Mike Savage. He's a great story teller, he always has an entertaining angle on current events, and he's as unpredictable as a hurricane. But his unpredictability also leads to self- contradictory statements.
He's very emotion-driven. Lots of fun to listen to.
Boortz has the best sense of humor of any host.

"Am I the only Freeper that enjoys Savage the most?"I like him, when I get a chance to listen. I get a kick at how he can really get pissed and it is just comical to listen to him rant and rave.
I am kind of the same way, in that sense.
He gets a little to far out in right field for me sometimes. Or, is it left field.
Rush is top dog. No one even gets close to him.
As far as, his self promotion, I think not. I really think the guy is probably very humble.

Savage is the best, I also listen to Medved from noon to three. There is noone on the radio in my area on a national level that I would go out of my way to listen to though. I would love to have someone on from 9-12 besides Rush, but I guess it gives me time off. Haven't listened to him for quite awhile, he is not very funny or interesting anymore.

Actually I can deny that he's entertaining. For some reason his voice (and views) sound like somebody eating dry Grapenuts through metal braces. I dunno why... that's just what I picture when I hear him. Not at all entertaining. Basically makes me want to jab a sharp knife into my spinal column.
