Your theory certainly could explain the lack of transitional forms in the fossil record, proof that God doesn't make mistakes. Your "lack" of transitional forms always turns into a lawyering trick to explain away and dismiss what IS there. The gimmick turns out to be that no matter what IS there, you have a way of saying it's not a transitional form. There's no stopping you from playing that game, but what evolution predicts (forms intermediate between previously known forms) turns up with great regularity and has been doing so since Darwing published in 1859. The situation is thus the very opposite of what you invite people to believe.
