I wouldn't go that far, but I secretly hope Specter loses in the general. His last two general election races have been squeakers and there's no guarantees that he'll win in November.

I couldn't possibly vote for Hoeffel, but there are other options besides voting for Specter that should be given careful consideration.

If you vote for either Hoeffel or Specter, it tells the parties that you don't mind if a candidate is a pro-abortion liberal. Isn't it better to vote 3rd party, write-in a ballot or not vote at all for the U.S. senate race?

what a 'brilliant' statement---vote for a demonrat senator to 'get even' with Specter---someday you will learn that it hurts to 'hold your nose' while voting for the 'less of two evils' but it is necessary----

I would take you up on that, and hope that you're serious, because it would be better to get rid of such vermin that does great damage to the conservative agenda while operating under the mechanism and power of the Republican party.

I would strongly urge all the Toomey supporters to seriously consider NOT voting Republican or voting FOR the Democratic candidate.

You see, good 'ol Arlen here, is supposed to be in-line to take over the Chairmanship of the JUDICIARY COMMITEE next year, and guess WHERE all the Supreme Court nominess HAVE TO GO THRU to get aproved???
