"Voting for a pro-abortion liberal Democrat OR a pro-abortion liberal Republican tells the GOP to just keep doing what they are doing."So, what you are saying is that you are so upset at the fact that this "pro-abortion Liberal" keeps getting elected to the Senate in your State, that you are willing to teach them a lesson by allowing an even more pro-abortion liberal candidate to be elected?
The message you would send is that the more pro-abortion liberal one is, the more likely one is to get elected.

Both candidates are equally pretty bad for pre-born kids. Can you imagine how bad Specter will be if he is in control of the judiciary committee?
Can you imagine how bad it will be for pre-born kids, if Hoeffel wins the election?
BTW, I live in NYS and was a registered member of the NYS Conservative Party, until a couple of years ago when they started backing pro-abortion RINOs - at least for the most part.
Anyway, when the NYS Conservative Party was actually conservative, James Buckley won as a Conservative Party candidate.
So to make a short story long, or is it a long story short, occasionally 3rd parties DO win!
Well I think that the mood is right for a 3rd party to win in PA this year (like the Constitution Party) in the Senate's race. It was nothing short of amazing that Congressman Toomey only lost by 2% againt a strong incumbent, & did not have nearly as much money as Specter.
Of course, there are never guarantees in life, but PA folks have until November to think about it.
I understand your argument that PA is liberal; however, the whole nation is becoming more conservative, so maybe PA is, too.

(Slavery was justifed by claiming the victims were not people; abortion is justified that way today.)
