I understand all of your attitudes. I've been doing the same thing in regard to Delaware......and I don't even live there anymore.
But because I no longer live there, but still close enough to the beaches, I have seen what is happening because of the smoking ban up there. Business owners throughout this county, as well as some in Maryland have seen an increase in visitors and vacationers who in the past had spent their time and money at the Delaware beaches.......that money is now being spent in Maryland and Virginia.

I bet that tourist numbers will increase in Northern Ireland, and decrease in the Republic (should that be Former Republic).
