I've been here in Pearl River County [South Mississippi] since '66. I moved here from New Orleans [45 miles away] and, damned if all the other white folks followed me.
Seriously, 90% of the new people moving into this county are from New Orleans.

Easy. Louisiana still votes for 'RATS statewide. They have never elected a Republican senator since Reconstruction, and they voted twice for Bubba.
