Arkansas is the only state that Louisiana could possibly make fun of, but I even doubt that.

I lived on the worst west bank of New Orleans for a year when I worked for the railroad in Avondale. I would go home to Lafayette twice a week and on weekends just to get away from that hell hole. New Orleans makes Lafayette look like Utopia.

Hahahaha! "hell hole" I concur. And it has only gotten worse over the years. When I was there the mafia reigned supreme. I would imagine nothing has changed even though Carlos M. is no longer with us. The great N.O. government IS still with the living and I *know* it hasn't changed even though the names of the governing might.

All I can say is "Sweet Home Alabama"! (I like Mississippi too---even though it is the home of hoity-toity Ole Miss. Oxford *is* beautiful,tho.)
