Why do you think that Specter will win by 6%?
Do you think the "certain voter" polling is inaccurate? It's the day before the primary, and it will be overcast tomorrow, so if people still don't know whether or not they'll vote, chances are they won't vote.

Most union supporters are Dems and - unless they changed party affiliation specifically for this primary - they won't be able to vote for Arlen. I read somewhere the switch of registrations is not high ..
IF that's true .. then it looks like the Unions won't play to big in the primary

Go Pat Go!
Down here in GA we have the same thing gong on: Zell Miller's seat is up, and it will go to a Republican. We have 4 people on the ballot, the leader is Johnny Isakson (maybe) a RINO in its pure form, with a strong showing by Herman Cain, a GREAT CONSERVATIVE!!!!
Isakson won't even show up to any type of debate with Mr. Cain, he's a chicken %(^&.
Go Toomey!
Isn't it great fun pulling the Republicans to the conservative side!

There are lots of Toomey yard signs in Western PA where I live. Not many for Specter. I'm voting for Toomey as soon as I get out of work tomorrow. Specter's Scottish law vote finished him for me. He's running ads almost non-stop saying that it's "Toomey vs Bush." He also left a message on my answering machine which was a compilation of Bush's endorsement remarks at his recent stop in Pittsburgh. Specter is pulling out all the stops to beat Toomey. Main line loyal Republicans may feel that the Bush and Santorum endorsements for Specter require them to vote for him. Santorum and Bush should have stayed out of the fight.

That's my Opinion.
I could be wrong , I hope I am wrong, but I get the feeling Spector will win by 5-6%.
If W hadn't coem and supported Spector, Toomey would have won by 3-4%

I'll jumnp in and say Toomey 53%-Specter 47%.
I'm glad this race didn't degenerate into a carbon copy Arnold/McClintock war.

I really couldn't care less if Specter's seat goes to the Democrat. Specter is practically a Democrat already.
But he does vote for a GOP leadership.
Yes, but if you would have read the next sentence
"So what, so he caucuses with the Republicans, that's it. The rest of his votes are more important than his caucus vote."
then you'd know how I feel about that.

Wow. Pat is looking VERY good now if he is this close to the incumbent Specter. It just shows you how many people Specter has alienated.

Philly has close to nil Republicans True and if the switch of registration is low .. then that means the unions won't have an effect on the primary
