The poll results are interesting, aren't they? I saw the Independent Steelworkers Union president Mark Glyptis at the White Palace, but I'm glad he hasn't yet said he's supporting Kerry. The guys at Weirton Steel - or any steel plant - would be foolish to do so (although I saw various USWA officials at the event, too). The funniest thing was Brooke County Democrat chair John Martino giving us the finger with both hands, even though we had at least six little children in our group. A real class act!

Yes, I've been trying to follow the polls in the Intelligencer (we get the morning paper at my office). Seems that, IMO, mostly they go conservative. Hopefully, that is a good sign.

As for Brooke County Democrat chair John Martino, maybe you should do a letter to the editor? That just goes to show the mentality of liberals in this country! Anything goes, huh?

I hope I can make it to a Bush rally if/when he visits Wheeling. It would be a blast!
