To: New Perspective
Thanks for the link. Yeah, I had heard the the remains of Lt. Rittichier nad his crew had finally been repatriated but was not aware of the details. This CG website has a very good narrative of that particular SAR. I was not involved but knew many who were. The toughest missions were always the ones when you were told to stand down and RTB. It was a very empty feeling only compounded when losing fellow SAR force personnel. It says a great deal about our country and our culture that we will go above and beyond attempting to bring our folks home.

It is amazing what our veterans give up, just so someone can burn the flag, spit in your face, and voice their absurd opinion.
