Thanks for the update, 'pod -- had a few worried moments when we hadn't heard back and then FR died.

My boss had a similar type of out-patient operation; placed a stent into an artery to keep it open. First they place a baloon into the crimp and expand it, then place a small metal expanded-mesh sleeve in place. Must work, my boss is still around after three plus years and no repercussions.

"Let's pray she gets the same luck and can stick around with us just as long." There have been a lot of advances in the treatment of strokes in recent years. I pray she will live a lot longer than that.

Thanks for keeping everybody updated, Pod. I had heard about CD via FReepmail Wonderful news! I will continue to keep her in my prayers. As I told the others, knowing how CD likes to "express herself," I suspect she will be highly motivated to overcome anything that would keep her from doing so. :-)
