Kerry's not a good candidate, but why does anyone think the country would elect Hilary in a switcheroo? If the 'Rats pull a "Lautenberg" and install Hillary! as the candidate on of about September 30th, she will be unstoppable. The more Kerry stumbles, the more I wonder if this was the plan all along.
Lautenberg was the worst candidate you can imagine, but six weeks before an election each candidate has so many negatives that you could beat the best candidate with almost anybody. Even Hillary! Maybe NJ 2002 was just a practice run.

Trust me, Her Heinous is very stoppable :) In fact, the shine has so worn off the apple here in the Empire State, if she were to run for re-election, she'd lose. So if even the blue bits of NYS are educable, then I'd say there's hope for the rest of them nationwide, too :)
