Then there's that "diabetic ghetto" where they put the stuff that's supposedly edible by diabetics. Lots of it seems to be candybars. A homemade cheesecake nested on a bed of almond crumbs will suffice, of course, plus some green, hard, thinsliced strawberries!
What I want is a carb-free loaf of French bread with some peach preserves (also carb-free).
