CNN was John O'Neill's first TV interview since the 1971 Cavett show. He was strong -- Blitzer may have thought he could blow him away by asking him to forgive Kerry -- make it look like an old "bone to chew" -- O'Neill shot back. He said it was a question of fitness, not forgiveness. O'Neill showed Kerry's 1971 book mocking the US Military -- THE NEW SOLDIER -- O'Neill asked Kerry to allow it to be republished so the American public can see the depth of his anti-Americanism.
