Nothing personal mind you. They are merely testing the will of the public in support of giving over guardian care for Terri to the Schindler family.
I don't like the lack of an immediate press release from Terri's legal team about the solitary confinement AND the total lack of medical information filtered by and through a law office about Terri's medical/dental status.
Why is Anderson and company sitting on these indefensible actions/censorship. It's a media bomb served to Terri's legal team on a platter, and nobody from the pro bono Round Table is running with it. Why not???
Who on Terri's legal team is really representing Terri???
Interesting. Are you saying that about Terri's team as well as about her opposing team? Then don't we have the answer to that (well, as much as we can ever have the answer to anything here, you know what I mean.)? Kick up a fuss. Don't take 'no' for an answer on all this. Leave claw marks on this downward path. I'm just thinking 'out loud' here.
So we each need to do something to kick up a fuss for Terri -- that's what FreepinforTerri is talking about on her thread. As the one who has to live with my conscience, I will confess that I need to write a(nother) letter to the editor.
And I will try to get to that rally in Starke for Terri tomorrow -- on 301 in front of Bradford Cty Courthouse from 8 to 5 pm, if any others in NE FL want to join. I need to get some sleep if I'm to do that . . . I hope I've done justice to what you're saying, RD. Cindydawg -- :o) -- ya'll please pray for me on this, and thanks so much.
The Schindlers filed a challenge to Michael's guardianship in 2002. The court has granted Michael endless continuances on the case.
Michael's continued outrageous behavior should certainly be brought up in court if it actually hears the Shindler's guardianship challenge while the temperature in Hades is still above 32°F, but otherwise what would you expect them to do? If they try to file other challenges to Michael's guardianship, I would expect he would move that those simply be consolidated into the existing challenge, and I would expect the court to grant such a motion.
One of the problems with today's governmental system is that even when appeal procedures exist for cases where a court or agency does something unreasonable, there are often no effective avenues of appeal in cases where a court or agency simply refuses to act.
