I found this touching 911 tribute from our troops
(Marine Infantry Battalion - Baker Company)
serving in Iraq from the Cool Our Troops program
website (www.coolourtroops.com).

The program aims to raise money to be able to
buy these portable mist pumps and send them on to
Iraq to help with cooling off in the desert heat.
Seems like a good cause to donate to for those
looking for a way to help our troops.
Here's the picture and the email from 1stSgt Dave Jobe to the program organizers:

"How are you all doing? The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute to our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is by taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen. I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that "WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN" and are proud to serve our country."

We have posted below a very touching, patriotic tribute in honor those that gave the ultimate sacrafice on September 11 sent by Baker Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, who are currently stationed in Iraq. We also have posted the corresponding letter by one of its members explaining this fantastic and amazing tribute.

We would like to thank all 160 members of Baker Company and their families for this great honor. Your tribute has touched our hearts and your sentiment is equally shared. We could never thank you enough for all you do for this country and for our freedoms. You make us all very, very proud! God Blesses all of us in America with all of you!
