Yes some families still 'respect' the dead... it can get quite elaborate with the ethnic mixing that goes on there. I really really have to visit the South. I like people who hold onto traditions!
i was WRONG about this funeral, when i posted my comments about 6 months ago.
at that time, the CofC crowd, of Charleston were "going to play it down".
i predicted that there would be few CSA flags, weeping belles in black & few CSA personnel.
i'm PLEASED that i was SOOOOOOOO WRONG!
