Well, that area is wired well enough that if it was a quake it would have shown up immediately on a USGS site.

Possibilities are a sonic boom from something, or, a fireball meteor detonating. See a flash in the sky or anything?

Agreed, probably a sonic boom, they can shake houses for miles.
