It is good to be back - though I am limping with a nasty head cold. But much more pressing, my beloved brother in law was called home yesterday and I am awaiting a phone call for the funeral arrangements. My sister had already gone home in 2001.

Their two adult children survive. Prayers for them would be much appreciated!

Lord God, as the Alpha and the Omega You know our beginnings and our endings. It is because of Your great knowing Loving for us, that, while we might be surprised when death overtakes us, You are not surprised. Your very Word teaches that neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation shall be able to separate us from Your Love. Therefore, we pray for Alamo-Girl and her family in their time of grief. It is Your love that should inspire their ability to believe in the victory of that which unseen, eternal in the heavens. In the name of Jesus we pray; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
